2025-05: Sea Base

Day 1 & 2

Soo, already realizing that we can’t wait till we’re back from Sea Base to start sharing some pics. So far an amazing trip, got into St. Thomas yesterday, got on the boat today, and had our first snorkeling stop at Christmas Cove! (And so far dodged all the rain!).

Day 3

Had a great day learning how to sail and snorkeled twice today. Put on 15+ miles on day when winds were predicted to be <10 knots. (They weren’t). A few of us started to get a little sunburned, some more than a little.

Day 4

Today we started by snorkeling to the beach in Waterlemon Cay, hiked up to Annaberg Plantation and more! Saw some huge hermit crabs, tiny goats, and awesome views. Then we packed up, sailed another 15 miles around to Rendezvous Bay and took another quick snorkel & dove for shiny things before dinner. Weather is still looking perfect , couldn’t ask for a better trip so far.

Day 5

Another incredible day of sailing with some amazing new snorkeling spots! Saw some new sea creatures, relaxed on a beach, and ended the day with an amazing dinner & sunset.

Day 6

For our last full day, we got a bit more sailing in, two snorkels, tested our diving and recovery skills to the limits and ended our night with some amazing pizza at a swim up pizza boat! Absolutely amazing! Can we make this an annual trip?

Day 7

It’s hard to believe but our trip is almost at an end. This morning we sailed the ship back to the marina, got her docked, cleaned from bow to stern, and said our good-byes. After we left, we accomplished two very important tasks. First, we got ice cream. Second, we made it back to our hotel and enjoy our first showers in a week. Spent the afternoon hitting the tourist stalls, wandering the streets and alleys, and had an early dinner. We finished up with a night of songs and games back at the hotel.
